We make it possible for businesses of all sizes to recruit, pay, and manage international teams. With our core values at heart and future focused work culture, our team works tirelessly on ambitious problems, asynchronously, around the world. You can find Remoters working from 6 different continents (Antarctica left to go!) and all of our positions are fully remote.

With Innovation as one of the core values, we have built Automation and AI capabilities into the requirements for every role.

We encourage every member of the Remote team to bring their talents, experiences and culture to the table to help us build the best-in-class HR platform.

If you are energetic, curious, motivated and ambitious, be part of our world. Apply now and define the future of work!

What this job can offer you

This is an exciting time to join Remote and shape the future of reporting and insights as the Senior Product Manager, Reporting & Insights.

Your mission: enable customers and internal teams to answer critical workforce, payroll, finance, and compliance questions with confidence through trusted, well-designed reporting and insights experiences.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, GTM, Sales, Customer Success, Security, Legal, and Operations, you will bring the customer judgment, technical depth, and product craft needed to build reporting that is accurate, scalable, easy to use, and ready for AI-assisted workflows and insights.

You report to a Senior Group Product Manager and collaborate daily with cross-functional partners to ensure every reporting and insights capability succeeds commercially, technically, and operationally.

What you bring

  • Senior-Level Experience: Track record as a Product Manager with a strong focus on reporting, analytics, data platforms, workflow, or insights products.

  • Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code (Required): You must be able to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code and prototypes — not just write specs. You can understand data schemas, query patterns, analytics code, and AI-assisted workflows hands-on.

  • Data Understanding & Fluency (Required): Strong end-to-end data literacy across models/schemas, lineage, and report generation. Comfortable with grain/joins/aggregations and common pitfalls (double-counting, currency/timezones, effective dating, late-arriving data).

    • Able to read/write SQL to validate results, investigate discrepancies, and ensure metrics are well-defined, reconciled, and trustworthy. Partner effectively with Data/Engineering to resolve definition and modeling issues.
  • Customer Focus: Deep empathy for customers and a strong sense of what matters most in their day-to-day workflows.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to align cross-functional stakeholders, navigate trade-offs, and keep teams focused on what matters most for customers.

  • Strong UX Sensibilities: A passion for effortless experiences. You believe that complex data, reporting, and insights workflows should feel simple, trustworthy, and useful to the end user.

  • Outstanding Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You can explain complex data, reporting, AI, and compliance trade-offs to non-technical executives and clearly articulate value to customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Language: Business-level proficiency writing and speaking English.

  • Domain Expertise (nice to have): Experience with HR Tech, payroll, finance, compliance, or B2B SaaS products. You understand data models, reporting needs, compliance constraints, and common workflow pain points in this space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set the reporting and insights strategy: Define the vision and roadmap for a multi-surface reporting system across in-app report building, dashboards, scheduled delivery, exports, APIs/connectors, embedded partner surfaces, and AI/agent experiences.
  • Deeply understand customer reporting needs: Build empathy for payroll, finance, HR, executive, manager, internal operator, and partner/builder personas — translating different workflows, trust thresholds, and AI readiness levels into clear product priorities.
  • Build trusted reporting foundations: Own payroll-grade reporting capabilities including standard reports, configurable report building, GL/journal exports, variance reporting, reconciliation, definitions, permissions, lineage, auditability, and observability.
  • Develop intelligent insights experiences: Identify where AI, anomaly detection, driver analysis, and proactive recommendations can help users understand what changed and what to do next — while keeping outputs explainable, source-backed, and compliant.
  • Deliver through strong cross-functional execution: Partner with Data, Engineering, Design, Security, Legal, Sales, CX, Finance, Operations, and partners to turn customer needs into technically sound, scalable reporting solutions.
  • Measure and improve impact: Establish KPIs for adoption, engagement, trust, report accuracy, distribution usage, retention, expansion, and internal leverage; continuously use feedback and data to improve the product.

Remote is solving modern organizations’ biggest challenge – navigating global employment compliantly with ease. We make it possible for businesses of all sizes to recruit, pay, and manage international teams. If you are energetic, curious, motivated and ambitious, be part of our world. Apply now and define the future of work!

What this job can offer you

This is an exciting time to join Remote as a Senior Product Manager, Payroll, an IC role for someone with genuinely high technical depth — trading management scope for depth. You’ll partner with your Engineering Team Lead and Staff Engineers on architecture and technical direction as a peer, not an observer, forming your own technical opinions and prototyping to answer questions rather than scheduling a meeting about them.

Your mission is to own your product area end to end: not just the software, but the full experience customers and internal teams get from it, including the API surface other teams and integrators build on.

What you bring

  • Technical Direction: Partner with the Engineering Team Lead and Staff Engineers on architecture, design quality, and technical direction. Form independent, well-reasoned technical opinions and hold your own in design reviews as a peer.
  • Build to Learn: Prototype and write code to de-risk ideas, answer open questions, or ship small pieces yourself rather than defaulting to a meeting.
  • API & Integration Quality: Own products where APIs are the product surface. Design contracts, guide versioning and backwards compatibility, and own the developer experience for teams and systems integrating with your product.
  • Root Cause Problem-Solving: Sit with the specialists and ops teams doing the manual work, observe real workflows, and prioritize based on where the pain actually is. When systems disagree, fix the underlying cause rather than building a better reconciliation report.
  • End-to-End Ownership: Own adoption and hypercare, not just delivery — including whether what you shipped is actually being used months later.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with payroll and tax experts on research and requirements, convene across teams, and onboard others into context generously.
  • Clear Communication: Document decisions and reasoning in writing (specs, Looms, proposals) so your thinking is inspectable and can be challenged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code is required. You must be able to autonomously build, debug, and ship functional code/prototypes, not just write specs.
  • Experience as product manager in a high-growth company
  • Experience working in payroll, HR, benefits, fintech, or similar
  • Great judgment making both strategic (what to prioritize) and tactical (feature scope) decisions

Product Launch

  • Partner with marketing and sales to develop product positioning, messaging, pricing support, and go-to-market plans.
  • Support customer enablement, product documentation, training, and launch readiness.
  • Define success metrics and continuously measure product adoption and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Need

Required

  • 5+ years of product management experience.

Please note, this posting is to highlight joining Right Side Up’s talent collective specifically and is not representing an internal full-time role, or a current opportunity with a client.

Right Side Up is a collective of premium marketing talent—with all of the marketing chops, and none of the agency fluff. We’re trusted by the most respected early-stage ventures, the fastest-growing tech companies, and well-established Fortune 500 teams to do one thing better: Growth. We have over 250+ clients including Stitch Fix, Sephora, Yelp, Sun Basket, Crunchbase, DoorDash, Calm, and more.

About the Role

We’re seeking freelance Loyalty Program Strategists to help our clients design, evaluate, and scale loyalty programs that drive real business growth. This is a niche, senior specialty: we’re looking for people who have actually built and shipped loyalty programs at leading brands, across B2B, B2C, and marketplace models, and who bring a blend of product and marketing instincts to the work. Contract projects typically range from 10–20 hours per week, depending on client needs and project scope.

Responsibilities

  • Audit existing loyalty or rewards programs, including mechanics, redemption structures, and unit economics.

  • Evaluate whether a loyalty program is the right growth lever for a given business, product, or customer segment, and make the case either way.

  • Design loyalty program strategy and mechanics tailored to B2B, B2C, and marketplace business models.

  • Build the business case connecting loyalty investment to retention, repeat behavior, and revenue growth.

  • Assess customer behavior, segmentation, and what motivates a given audience to take action.

  • Benchmark against competitors and comparable loyalty programs, and know when a comparison does or doesn’t translate.

  • Partner closely with product, marketing, and finance stakeholders to align on scope, priorities, and tradeoffs.

  • Translate strategy into a clear, execution-ready framework or proposal that product and engineering teams can build against.

  • Define success metrics and measurement frameworks for new or evolved loyalty programs.

  • Advise on program structure, including tiering, earn/burn mechanics, and personalization.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including executive teams.

  • Stay current on loyalty and retention best practices across industries and business models.

Requirements

  • 8+ years designing and building loyalty programs, ideally across B2B, B2C, and/or marketplace businesses.

  • Track record evaluating the unit economics and business case behind loyalty investments, not just program design.

  • Strong blend of product and marketing instincts, with a clear read on what motivates people to take action.

  • Comfortable operating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and finance stakeholders.

  • Experience translating strategy into frameworks that product and engineering teams can execute against.

  • Hands-on operator who has shipped loyalty programs, not just advised on them.

  • Comfortable in open-ended, evaluative engagements, structuring ambiguity into a clear deliverable.

Tools & Platforms

  • Familiarity with loyalty and rewards platforms such as Yotpo, Smile.io, Annex Cloud, Bond, or custom-built systems.

  • CRM and lifecycle marketing tools.

  • Analytics platforms for cohort, retention, and unit economics analysis.

This is a unique opportunity to build products that sit at the intersection of enterprise imaging and  real-world imaging data. The ideal candidate has deep experience in enterprise imaging, understands clinical imaging  workflows, and has successfully brought healthcare software products from concept through  commercial launch.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for Avandra’s Enterprise Imaging portfolio.

  • Develop products that simplify how imaging moves between providers, patients, and  healthcare organizations.
  • Identify market opportunities and customer needs that differentiate Avandra in a rapidly  evolving imaging ecosystem.

Product Development

  • Lead products from concept through launch, working closely with engineering, design,  sales, customer success, and executive leadership.
  • Write clear product requirements and user stories that translate customer problems into actionable engineering work.
  • Balance customer requests, technical constraints, and business priorities when making roadmap decisions.
  • Partner with engineering throughout development to ensure successful delivery and product quality.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Meet regularly with health systems, imaging centers, and strategic partners to understand  workflows and emerging market needs.
  • Gather customer feedback through interviews, product demonstrations, and beta programs.
  • Monitor competitive offerings and industry trends across enterprise imaging and healthcare interoperability.
  • Represent Avandra at customer meetings and industry conferences.

Data Network Innovation

  • Develop capabilities that make it easier for healthcare organizations to participate in Avandra’s imaging data network.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure image exchange products create long-term strategic value across both clinical and data-driven use cases.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify new platform capabilities that benefit providers, researchers, and life sciences organizations.

  • Experience building enterprise healthcare software products.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise imaging workflows, including PACS, VNA, DICOM, and  image exchange.
  • Experience leading products from concept through commercial launch. • Ability to translate complex customer workflows into intuitive software solutions. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in Agile development environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred

  • Experience with healthcare interoperability technologies including DICOM, HL7, and FHIR.
  • Experience in cloud-based SaaS healthcare platforms.
  • Familiarity with healthcare privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working directly with radiology departments, imaging centers, or health  systems.

What Success Looks Like in Year One

  • Successfully launch new digital image exchange capabilities that expand Avandra’s product portfolio.
  • Deliver a clear and executable product roadmap that aligns customer needs with company strategy.
  • Increase adoption of Avandra’s image sharing platform across existing and new customers.
  • Improve the customer experience across both physical and digital image exchange workflows.
  • Deliver platform capabilities that strengthen Avandra’s position as the trusted infrastructure for imaging exchange and imaging data.

What We Offer

  • Meaningful Impact: The work we do directly enables medical breakthroughs — such as earlier cancer detection, better Alzheimer’s treatments, AI diagnostics that save lives. This isn’t abstract; it’s the reason our health system partners invest in us.

  • Career-Defining Opportunity: You’ll have a front-row seat to every aspect of building a category-defining company—strategy, operations, fundraising, M&A, scaling.

  • Exceptional Team: Work alongside a founder with a track record of building and exiting healthcare technology companies, backed by investors who are true partners.

  • Competitive Package: Competitive salary, equity, comprehensive benefits, and hybrid work flexibility.

  • Values-Driven Culture: We’re building a team grounded in Avandra’s 5 Core Values that guide how we show up every day:

    • WIN with Integrity
    • Radical Accountability
    • Engage with Empathy
